When you buy from a photo, you always wonder if the product is really good or a piece of junk. This is a quality product. It looks good and is very solid. Highly recommended.

But, watch the vendors carefully... I bought this product for a low price eigthy something and had to pay almost the same price for shipping and handling eighty something plus seventy something = no saving
However, I have a hundred and twenty five pounds lcd on it now. I'm not moving it.
read and study the vendors. product is cool.
Great AV stand, needs better packing! December 10, 2009

This Sanus AV stand is just what I have been looking for. I've built several Sanus products and i can say that on the rare occasions I've needed a replacement part, their service has been excellent. In this particular case, I did need to call for replacement parts because the top shelf had a chip in the right rear which would be noticeable on side view, one of the 3-inch pillars would not allow threading a self-connecting screw on one side, and one of the self-threading screws was defective in that it wouldn't stop at the end of the threads but continued on past the middle of the screw, so I could not count on that one staying in place. For me, as a partially sighted person, I'm pretty much able to follow instructions but sure wish assembly material was in larger print. Also wish that the writers of these instruction manuals would take a little more time being careful to give the steps to build this. One important step was missed, about the metal top-shelf brace. I had the beast nearly built and realized this metal piece was sitting there so had to put that on then re-tighten the top. Right now I can't use the stand until the above pieces come so i can put those on. Meanwhile, it's taking up extra space in my living room until it's properly completed, so that will be a distraction for a few days more. You should note that the shipper that sent me my unit didn't put this box inside another, just shipped it as is and when I got it, the box was quite tattered. It sure does seem very sturdy despite missing the front center foot right now, but still won't use it until properly assembled with all working parts. It will be good I'm sure. I think it will hold my 46" LCD flat panel screen just fine along with my video gear and am still glad I bought this. It's still by far better than anything else I've seen, and I hope Sanus continues to make fine products like this for a long time ti come.
Excellent product for the price December 1, 2009

This is a sturdy, well-made TV/AV stand; easy to assemble; beautifully crafted (the underside of the shelves has almost as good a finish as the top); with plenty of room for all the video and audio peripherals needed for a good home theatre. It's not all that heavy, either; one person can move it fairly easily after it's assembled, a plus if you don't always have some extra brawn hanging around. I was particularly pleased with the middle shelf, as the absence of the center supports made it the perfect place for my sound bar and also made it easier to get it situated.
All in all, a great product, more than worth the price. I highly recommend it.
